About job

We are looking for a Senior Data Workstream Lead / Data Architect to join a large-scale business and technology transformation programme. The role will focus on leading a complex data workstream, integrating operational, reporting, and analytics data into the client's enterprise data platform.

This is a senior leadership position combining data architecture, programme delivery, stakeholder management, governance, and strategic solution design.

Your Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end data workstream within a major transformation programme.

Collaborate closely with client programme management and senior business and IT stakeholders.

Drive requirements gathering, definition, and solution design activities.

Provide architectural oversight for data integration, reporting, and analytics solutions.

Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technology domains.

Manage delivery planning, risks, dependencies, and governance.

Support the development and future scaling of the data workstream and related delivery teams.

Skills required

Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Delivery Lead, Data Transformation Lead, or in a similar senior role.

Strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale data transformation initiatives.

Experience leading complex programmes involving multiple stakeholders and distributed delivery teams.

Deep understanding of modern cloud-based data ecosystems.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

Ability to engage effectively with senior business and IT stakeholders.

Strong experience with:

AWS
Cloud Data Platforms
Data Lake / Lakehouse Architecture
Data Integration
Data Architecture
Reporting & Analytics

Experience with Snowflake, Dataiku, Guidewire, or within the insurance industry would be an advantage.
