About job
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Senior EUC Developer / VBA & MS Access Developer to support and maintain a suite of legacy business tools. The role focuses primarily on troubleshooting, maintenance, enhancement, and business support, ensuring the continued stability and usability of existing applications.
You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse issues, propose practical solutions, and implement approved changes. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently in complex, poorly documented legacy environments.
Your Responsibilities
Skills required
- 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting End-User Computing (EUC) solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with VBA — this is a critical requirement.
- Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel, with strong MS Access experience being a significant advantage.
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimising legacy applications.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems within existing technical constraints.
- Experience working with large datasets, older applications, and environments with limited documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Result-driven mindset and eagerness to learn.
Nice to have:
- Dutch language skills, particularly for troubleshooting and collaborating in Dutch-speaking environments.
- Experience with Python.
- Knowledge of HTML.
