Metrans was struggling with an outdated and inefficient logistics system that obstructed their ability to manage shipments, track orders, and provide real-time updates to clients. The legacy system lacked scalability and responsiveness.
Our team proposed a comprehensive solution to overhaul Metrans's logistics platform. We used the power of .NET for robust backend development, Azure for cloud scalability, Postman for API testing, and Angular for building a user-friendly frontend.
The project involved a phased approach: system analysis and requirements
gathering, architecture design, development and integration, rigorous testing, and deployment.
We worked closely with Metrans's logistics experts to ensure seamless integration of the new system.
Post-implementation, Metrans experienced remarkable improvements. Order processing time reduced by 30%, and real-time tracking accuracy improved by 25%. The cloud infrastructure allowed for effortless scaling during peak seasons, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
The modernized logistics solution transformed Metrans operations. They could now manage shipments more efficiently, respond faster to customer inquiries, and optimize routes for cost-effective deliveries. Customer satisfaction ratings saw a notable uptick.
Integrating a wide range of technologies required careful planning and coordination. Seamless API interactions between .NET backend, Angular frontend, and Postman testing played a pivotal role. Regular feedback loops with Metrans’s team helped in addressing concerns promptly.
Another fact why we are very proud of this cooperation is the fact that we started this project with a requirement that all teams need to be able to speak the local language (Czech) and be present in the client office 100% of the time (in Prague). We got a chance to prove that a project team of multiple nationalities, not all 100% office based, structured in a way to utilize the best of each member will deliver very good results, and this is exactly what happened.
To be precise, we have Czech, Slovak, Polish and Romanian in this team, and nowadays it is already 2 years delivering success for our client and approximately 75% of the functionalities already up and running. As a next step we are currently in discussions to deliver a mobile version of the key solution functionalities.
