When SnapStack joined hands with Philip Morris International (PMI), a global tobacco leader, we focused on improving data visibility and supporting informed decision-making. The ambitious project envisioned data warehouse construction (DWH) that would serve as a singular hub for PMI's offices across the Czech Republic (CZ), Slovakia (SK), and Hungary (HU).
PMI was on the lookout for a centralized data repository capable of harnessing compliance data from diverse sources and serving as an anchor for informed strategic decisions. The most significant hurdle was aggregating and integrating data from PMI's diverse sources into one robust and easily accessible DWH. Bringing together compliance data into this unified platform was not an easy task due to differences in data structures and formats across the offices.
